A badge celebrating the centenary of the formation of the "RETURNED SOLDIERS TRANSPORT CORPS" during World War 1 and depicting a smaller version of the WW1 era "Automobile Club Queensland" car badge, "RACQ MotorFest 2015" participant's metal CAR grill or bumper bar BADGE. The badge is flat and the metal appears to\n be stainless steel, has recessed detail and painted sections to the face. There are two original mounting holes. The badge is about 1mm in thickness and it is 3 1/2" or 89mm in diameter and it weighs 46g unpacked.
The badges were issued to the entrants or participants at the annual "RACQ MOTORFEST" display day held in Brisbane which is sponsored by the state's RACQ (Royal Automobile Club of Queensland).The shape of the badge is a departure from the style of the previous event badges.
This example remains in mint condition in all respects having only been removed from original bag for photographs.
